OTA Skills Labs
As a student in our 16-month Online OTA program, you will complete hands-on skills labs at our learning facility in Sun City, Arizona, which is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The program has you complete eight skills labs in total, with each one taking place over a designated weekend.

Overall, our OTA skills labs provide a contextual environment for you to learn how to safely and effectively perform mental, cognitive, and physical health-based interventions on patients of all ages and developmental stages. You will use real-world adaptive equipment to develop your hands-on skills as well as actively participate in role-play scenarios that involve your instructors and/or peers.
Furthermore, labs help remove the fear of the unknown, making it easier for you to transition into fieldwork, which is where you get to apply your skills in real-world settings with actual patients.
