Harcum OTA School in Arizona
Since the early 1960s, the Harcum College OTA program in Pennsylvania has prepared students for lifelong success in the field of occupational therapy. Today, Harcum also operates a certified occupational therapy assistant school near Phoenix, Arizona.
Why Arizona? Because the state has some of the fastest OTA job growth in the nation, due in part to a large elderly population. In fact, from 2010 to 2050, the Arizona Department of Health Services expects the number of residents who are age 65 and older to increase by 174%.
The Harcum OTA school is where students enrolled in the 16-month Online OTA program study together, attend hands-on skills labs with faculty, and take proctored exams.
Given the quality and accelerated nature of the program, Harcum can graduate a steady supply of OTAs who are prepared to meet the rehabilitation service demands of an aging population and beyond.
